A few weeks ago, I was sitting across from a builder's on-site agent. My client was ready to move from her small one-story home into something more spacious. She still wanted a one-level but with adult children and grandchildren, she needed more space.
In our area, it's customary for the new construction on-site agents to complete the builder's contract. The contract is emailed to us ahead of time. That gives us an opportunity to review the very stringent builder's stipulations with our clients before they actually sign.
Our client and I had met an hour earlier and reviewed the entire contract. She was good with everything and wanted to move forward with signing.
